GP Maternity Cover – Salaried GP Fixed Term Contract or Locum GP Needed
Oct 2026 – Feb 2027
4- 6 sessions over Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday – to be agreed
Sessional rate or GP Locum rate dependant on experience
The post holder will look after a small list of patients. Offering face to face appointments and telephone consultations. Also to include GP paperwork and occasional home visits, although most such requests are directed to our Purbeck Visiting Service. Attached is a job description
You will be working in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Jurassic Coast in Swanage, Dorset. The culture of the Practice is professional, team based and very supportive. You will be part of a team of eight GPs, ANPs, Specialist Paramedic and Nurse Practitioner, who work closely together to deliver excellent patient care. They are supported by with an equally excellent team of Practice Nurses, HCA’s and admin team.
We are a training Practice and have a “buddy” system in place to help with continued support and learning.
