An Exciting Opportunity to Join Our Friendly & Established Practice

We are a busy, well-regarded two-site group partnership practice serving a list of approximately 16,000 patients across our community. Following the planned retirement of a valued colleague, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Salaried GP to join our outstanding team from June 2026.

We are a CQC-rated training practice with a strong culture of education, teamwork, and continuous development, and we are proud to support the next generation of GPs through our registrar programme.

Location

We are a City practice across two sites and ideally situated in Hampshire, with excellent commuter links from Southampton, Romsey and Winchester, and easy access to the stunning New Forest and the coast ,offering an exceptional quality of life outside of work.

The Role

• 5 to 6 sessions per week

• Personal list with a fair share of duty sessions

• 15-minute appointments with a thoughtful mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations

• Home visits are routinely covered by the PCN Home Visiting Team.

• No extended hours obligation — though optional participation is welcome for those who wish to contribute.

• List holding responsibilities.

What We Offer

• Salary: £11,000 – £12,000 per session, commensurate with experience

• NHS Pension Scheme membership

• 6 weeks annual leave plus 1 week study leave (pro rata)

Our Wider Team

We are a large, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering excellent, holistic patient care. Our clinical team includes:

• 6 Partners, 5 Salaried GPs and 2 GP Retainers

• 2–3 GP Registrar Trainees

• Clinical Pharmacist

• First Contact Practitioner (FCP)

• Mental Health Practitioner

• Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants (HCAs)

• Phlebotomist

• Social Prescribers

Our non-clinical team includes:

• Receptionists and Care Navigators

• Workflow staff and GP Assistants (GPAs)

Education & Development

We are a GP training practice with a strong commitment to learning at all levels. We hold regular in-house teaching sessions including:

• Significant Event Analysis (SEA)

• Complaints Reviews

• External Speaker Sessions

About You

You will be a fully qualified GP, GMC registered and on the NHS England Performers List. You will be a warm, motivated team player who is passionate about high-quality primary care and looking to be part of a positive, forward-thinking practice.

Special clinical interests are very welcome and we will endeavour to support these within our service model.
