🌿 Experienced Practice Nurse with experience of managing Long Term Conditions – Join Our Friendly GP Surgery Team
Location: Royal Manor Health Care
Hours: 24hrs per week – to be worked Wednesday – Friday
Salary: £19.78 – £23.82 depending on experience
We are a welcoming and supportive GP surgery at the heart of our community, and we’re looking for a caring and motivated Practice Nurse to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys building relationships with patients and wants to make a real difference in long-term condition management (such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, and cardiovascular health), while also being involved in everyday practice nurse work.
💙 What the role involves
- Supporting patients to manage their long-term health conditions with confidence.
- Carrying out a variety of clinics, including immunisations, cervical screening, wound care, and NHS Health Checks.
- Helping patients stay well with health promotion and lifestyle advice.
- Working closely with GPs, nurses, and the wider team to deliver joined-up care.
🌟 What we’re looking for
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
- An experienced Registered Nurse (NMC)
- Experienced in supporting patients with long-term conditions.
- Confident with core practice nursing skills such as immunisations, wound care/leg club, and cytology.
- Someone who values teamwork and enjoys working in a community setting.
- Confident with staff and patient teaching
