NHS Guidance
Everyone working in the NHS is obliged to report concerns about under-performance by clinical professionals. This is not limited to poor clinical performance or non-compliance with professional codes of conduct, but can include other behaviours such as unacceptable behaviour towards staff or patients, breaching boundaries with patients, colleagues or staff, poor teamwork or management that adversely impacts patient care.
The following guidance has been issued by NHS England – South West
We cannot find similar guidance from NHS England – South East, but feel that this guidance would apply to all areas.
