Mid Hampshire Healthcare (MHH) is looking for an experienced, compassionate, and patient-focused LARC Nurse to join our growing clinical team supporting the delivery of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) services across Dorset.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified nurse with experience in contraception and sexual health to work within a supportive and forward-thinking healthcare organisation delivering high-quality community-based services.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll support the delivery of MHH’s LARC service by: –
- Providing contraceptive implant consultations, fitting, removal, and replacement.
- Providing counselling and fitting services for IUS/IUD devices.
- Delivering sexual health and general contraceptive advice to patients.
- Supporting the NHS Cervical Cytology Screening Programme where appropriate.
- Undertaking patient assessments, screening, and health education activities.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation using EMIS and other digital systems.
- Working collaboratively with clinical colleagues and operational teams across multiple locations.
- Supporting safe, effective, and patient-centred clinical care delivery.
- Contributing to continuous service improvement and clinical governance processes.

Essential Requirements
- NMC Registered Nurse (Adult Nursing).
- Current FSRH Registration.
- Experience fitting, removing, and replacing contraceptive implants.
- Experience fitting, removing, and replacing IUS/IUD devices.
- Ability to work across multiple service locations within Dorset.
- Strong communication, organisational, and clinical skills.
Desirable
- Prescribing qualification.
- Experience working across dispersed or community healthcare settings.
- Experience using EMIS clinical system.
- Experience within NHS primary care or community services.
