We are seeking a passionate and dedicated experienced Salaried GP to join our multidisciplinary team for 4 – 6 sessions per week (day/s flexible). This role aims to enhance patient access to primary care services and improve health outcomes within our community.

Job Highlights

• Patient Consultations: Capped at 25 appointments per day
• No Duty GP sessions
• List Holding : to ensure continuity of care
• Low Home visit count: PCN led home visiting service in place.
• Experienced ARRS supporting roles: Inc Clinical Pharmacist, Mental Health nurse and in house First Contact Physio service.

Job Role

• Clinical Examinations & Care Plans: Perform comprehensive assessments addressing both physiological and psychological needs. Develop personalized care plans with timely referrals in line with practice and local guidelines.
• Independent Prescribing: Prescribe medications within your scope of practice, adhering to local and national prescribing guidelines, and promote health strategies encouraging healthier lifestyles.
• Home Visits: Manage routine and emergency home visits as required.
• Administrative Responsibilities: Handle administrative tasks such as responding to queries, managing repeat prescriptions, reviewing test results, and preparing referral letters promptly.
• Clinical Management: Oversee patient care, initiate investigations, review results, and make appropriate referrals to secondary care or other providers, developing treatment plans that align with disease management protocols and NICE guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work alongside other health and social care providers to ensure integrated care and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records.
• Team Support: Support both clinical and administrative staff in maintaining high standards and meeting practice targets.
