Many women are presenting to primary care with perimenopausal/postmenopausal bleeding. This is causing concern to patients and, primary and secondary care clinicians in terms of increasing referral rates and the impact this is having on fast track suspected cancer clinics.
This educational webinar will see Dr Virginia Quiney (Wessex Cancer Alliance GP) and, Dr Kathryn Armitage, (Dorset Primary Care Lead for Cancer), discuss assessing patients with PMB and bleeding on HRT in light of the BMS guidance and changes to referral pathways.

- Bleeding on HRT – when to investigate, when to refer and when to manage in primary care (in line with the British Menopause Society (BMS) guidance
- Cancer antigen (Ca125) – not just a marker for ovarian cancer and false negatives.
