Both of these schemes have been refreshed with the advent of the GP Forward View. The Induction and Refresher Scheme has been streamlined and now has a dedicated unit to help practitioners return to practice after a career break. They have a dedicated website which is linked below.

Covid Specific Resources for Returners
We know that returning to primary care at this time is challenging.
You may be someone returning from maternity leave, someone coming back from retirement, returning from a career in industry, returning from private medicine or returning from being a full time parent- or a variety of other scenarios. Whichever of these groups you belong to- chances are there has been a lot of change since you were last working.
