Practice Manager Supporter - Jenny Partridge

I have worked in primary care for over 12 years, having previously worked in the business world. My first role was as a practice manager in Wokingham, with 11 partners and 23,000 patients where I led a major project to develop new premises and reorganise teams across two sites to form Wokingham Medical Centre. Most recently I worked in Farnham and helped set up Farnham Integrated Care Service, a GP led federation which delivered shared services, including a same day GP service. I also helped set up the PCN and managed PCN finances.

In 2021 I moved on from practice management to the role of Technology Navigator, bringing innovation into the NHS. I work with the Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) and one of my priorities is helping to find innovative ways of delivering primary care to address the workload issues that dominate primary care. I keep in touch with GP practices and still care passionately about helping practice managers with all the challenges they face in their role. I know how tough it can be at times, but also recognise the satisfaction you get when it all goes well and you’ve made a real difference to staff and patients.

Outside work I enjoy playing tennis and cycling, as well as socialising with friends.
