Alphabet of Red Flags - A Full A-Z Guide
Clinicians working in an extended role are now offering ‘on the day’ appointments for people with acute illness. Although these are often referred to as minor illness clinics or ‘triage’ a key element of these appointments is to assess for, identify and/or exclude any red flags which might indicate serious illness requiring immediate action or referral. For example:
A is for arrythmias
B is for bleeding
C is for … and so on!
