Level 1 and Level 2 Safeguarding Training Adult and Child

This Level 1 and Level 2 Safeguarding resource now includes the RCGP Standards 2024. The resource was originally written by Wendy Thorogood, previously Designated Nurse Consultant for Children (Dorset CCG), and Cathy Ross Independent Trainer in Safeguarding Adults, and has been brought up to date by Michelle Sharma, Amethyst Connections, who provides our Wessex LMCs Organisational Safeguarding Teaching.

This training includes safeguarding training for both adults and children and, if presented to a group of multi-disciplinary practice staff, will encourage better safeguarding awareness and procedures for the whole surgery.  It is pitched for Level One and Level 2 staff groups and will be excellent evidence for CQC purposes.

Certificates of attendance are provided as part of the package, and don’t forget to log your learning points & reflections as part of your CPD. CQC are particularly keen to see any evidence of your learning and how you apply it.

You can access the files of any purchased package as often as you like from your Wessex LMCs account. We routinely maintain packages to keep them up-to-date. We recommend, therefore, that you don’t save your own versions, as these will not be updated automatically.
