Main duties of the job

4-6 sessions per week (with some flexibility of working days) Sessional rate dependent on experience. Managing a patient list once induction / familiarisation phase has been completed.

• Provide excellent patient care in a primary care setting.
• Manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs
• Participate in setting standards for care and auditing clinical outcomes.
• Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.

Prescribe in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary or generically whenever clinically appropriate.

Essential criteria

Qualified GP Full registration with the GMC. Listed on the UK Medical Performers List. Must meet professional health requirements in line with GMC standards/Good Medical Practice. Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
