West Moors Village Surgery is looking to welcome a salaried GP for 6 sessions per week over 3 days, Monday or Wednesday & Thursday and Friday. We are a small practice with a genuinely, friendly, and supportive team, working hard to provide the best possible service to our patients of just over 5400.

We are a well‑established training practice with a strong track record of supporting GP registrars, medical students and currently a trainee ACP.

We are committed to empowering our workforce, providing a supportive environment that encourages professional development and enables staff to reach their full potential. We also work in partnership with our patients, promoting shared responsibility for healthcare and delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred services.

We have a skilled administration support team, including prescription clerks, document management and coding clerks and secretarial support.

Our excellent paramedics provide home visiting service as well as support to the duty doctor through our sudden and serious list each day.

We are a part of Castleman Healthcare, a not for profit organisation consisting of 13 GP practices and Crane Valley PCN with our colleagues at Cranbourne Practice, Verwood Surgery and Barcellos Practice. The PCN employs several roles including pharmacists, mental health practitioners and social prescribers.

On offer are a competitive salary (depending on experience) and benefits package (indemnity costs covered), 6 weeks annual leave and 1 week’s study leave.
