Health Care Assistant - Alma Road Surgery
We are an established training practice in Romsey. Our current registered patient list size is just over 16,000.
Our Practice consists of a
- GP Team of 7 Partners, 4 Salaried and 2 Registrars
- Nurse Team of Lead Nurse, Respiratory Nurse, 4 Practice Nurses 1 Healthcare Assistant and 2 Phlebotomists
- Reception Team – Administrative GP Assistants, Nurse Team PAs, Patient Care Co-ordinators and Receptionists
- Dispensary Team
- Admin Support Team
Working with the Nursing Team you will carry out Healthcare Assistant Duties to our Registered patients as detailed below
- Phlebotomy
- Simple wound dressing
- Leg Ulcer Dressings
- Assist in Leg Ulcer Clinics
- Suture and clip removal
- NHS health checks
- Assist with the Long-Term Conditions physical health review
- Flu vaccinations
- ECG’s
- Urinalysis
- Chaperone
- Support our nursing team with clinical tasks
