Practice Manager Supporter – Kim Hiles

Hello, my name is Kim Hiles and I am a Primary care Network (PCN) Manager working in the Chippenham Corsham and Box Primary Care Network which consists of five practices covering 62,000 patients employing a variety of ARRS roles.
I started my NHS Career when I left school by training as a Registered General nurse and working in a variety of different Primary, Secondary and community care settings.
I started my practice manager pathway as a Deputy Practice Manager developing over the years to a Practice Manager position and then 3 years ago took up the full time Primary Care Network Manager role.
I am particularly interested in supporting my peers in their PM/PCN positions as I recognise from years of working as a PM myself how isolated and lonely it can be at times particularly when you are new to the industry or have moved areas.
I am also very keen to develop staff and help with career progression and have undergone training myself to become a registered mentor which I am a member of the (EMCC) European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
I have experience with transitioning our Network in to limited Company status, lead two of my previous practices through CQC inspections, set up Patient Participation Groups and been the PM representative on numerous working groups and neighbourhood collaborative organisations.
In my down time I am a very keen “Yogi” having practiced Yoga for over 30 years and can often be seen with a paintbrush in my hand as my husband and I have renovated several different properties over the years and also built our own house (which we will not be repeating!!)
Please feel free to contact me if you think I can help with anything no matter how small.
