The Lost Update, is suitable for GPs at all stages of experience, and other primary care professionals dealing with chronic or complex disease. It has recently been approved by the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine.
Amongst many other things, this course covers:
Complex, chronic and functional disease, including mental illness occupies an ever larger part of GP's workload yet little training is given in these areas. This course is designed to refresh your approach to our work, and the ideas and techniques covered are likely to become ever more relevant with time. Rather than setting out to tell you exactly what to do with each of your patients, this course gives you concepts and tools with which to respond flexibly.

Trainer: Dr Andrew Morrice BSc MBBS MD MRCGP DipHGP
A GP who looked after a personal list for the last 20 years, Andrew has been studying the material presented here for even longer. He taught for 15 years on the Whole Person Care course at Bristol Medical School, and began using the Human Givens approach, which underpins this course, in 2003.

To get the best from the course, we highly recommend you take the chance to relax, chat about the day, and reflect with others by staying for supper at 6pm on Day 1 (please note supper is excluded from the course fee).
