GP Partnership Review - final report
Date sent: Monday 14 January 2019
Email sent to all GPs, Practice Managers and Practice Nurses
In February 2018 the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care announced a review into the future of the Partnership Model of General Practice.
The Department of Health and Social Care, NHS England, the GPC and the RCGP agreed terms of reference for the review and agreed that there should be an independent chair. I was asked to chair the review and started commenced this role in June 2018, with the remit to report back with recommendation by the end of the year.
I have now completed the review and submitted my recommendations to the Secretary of State, Matt Hancock and the Chief Executive of NHS England, Simon Stevens.
Please find attached a copy of the final report which will be up on GOV.UK in PDF format at 00.01 on Tuesday 15th January. The report and case studies will be added as a new page to this collection: Click here
