DBS: Create & Submit an Application and FAQ's July 2023
Wessex LMCs' Disclosure and Barring Service - DBS (Previously known as CRB)
Wessex LMCs are pleased to announce that our DBS application service has now moved to an online platform, which means a much faster, efficient and bespoke service for you, our Practices - with a turnaround from ‘application to certificate’ taking on average just 5 working days.
As an Umbrella Body of the DBS, we provide a reliable and efficient service tailored to our Practices' needs. Convenience and speed is our aim - our easy to use online portal allows your Practice to submit and manage multiple DBS applications via the dashboard - no more postage costs, no more paper forms, no more signatures required, no more errors - a much faster, simpler and more cost efficient solution than dealing with paper DBS application forms.
Registration is easy and free; the online system is hosted by Cantium Business Solutions on our behalf, with the continued trusted benefit of accredited LMC staff at the end of the phone to support and help you through the process every step of the way. To ensure efficiency and peace of mind, the LMC team will use their expertise to check your online application submissions ensuring the information is accurate and valid before sending it off to be processed. You will automatically be notified when the results are ready and the details will be shown within your own personal account dashboard area.
Mindful of costs, the LMC are pleased to be able to offer this online service at a reduced cost, please see pricing for Standard, Enhanced and Volunteer DBS checks in 'Step 3' section below. Payments are also via the online platform via credit card or BACs.
