ZOOM ONLINE EVENT This training will be run over Zoom from an account owned by the Trainer and NOT Wessex LMCs NB: This means we will need to provide the trainers with your email address and contact details - continuing with a booking on this basis will constitute your tacit agreement to this. To participate you will need to install Zoom on your device, ensure it has a microphone, speaker, and camera. Please Note: Some trainers will no longer allow you to stay on the call if you do not have your camera operating.

Registration 09:15 session runs 09:30 to 13:00 

To participate you will need a device capable of running Webex, that also has a microphone and speaker, a camera is beneficial but not essential.

Introduction

Having the right skill set to do a job well is essential. This workshop gives enhancement to normal good customer service skills to patients. It is advantageous that staff members are skilled and confident in sensitively ascertaining the nature of the patients' need and to understand that their practice population has differing needs. The workshop will focus on how to Communicate well with service users.

Aims

By the end of this workshop delegates will have a clear understanding of the value and importance of Active Signposting.

Objectives

This training aims to encourage delegates to be increasingly confident in signposting patients directly to the most appropriate sources of help, this could be web and app based portals for self-help and self- management resources as well as signposting to the most appropriate professional. Delegates will also receive a number of standard checklists and templates which they will then be able to adapt for their Practice.

Delegates will not only have time to learn but to share and explore safe and appropriate options to use. This workshop incorporates an on line assessment for each candidate taken in their own time at the practice.

This option is for everyone working in a Practice in the Wessex LMC catchment area that does not fit into one of the other options on offer.

Non Members

This is the cost if you are not working in a Practice in the Wessex LMCs catchment area. £190.00

Waiting List

Please be advised there are spaces available on this course unless it states otherwise. If a course is full you will be given the option to book on the waiting list. If you are on the waiting list and a place becomes available, you will be notified automatically you do NOT need to contact Wessex LMCs. 

Refunds

All delegate fees are non-refundable, however, if it has been agreed that a refund is possible, it will be subject to an administration charge of £5 for fees of £100 or less, or £10 for fees more than £100.

Attendance Details

In certain circumstances, we will share details of attendance or non-attendance with the person who booked and/or funded this course for the delegate.
