Wessex Local Medical Committees - Representing GPs and Practices across

 Dorset, Hampshire & IOW, Wiltshire, Jersey and Guernsey

Wessex LMCS office is based in Chandler's Ford near Southampton. We offer advice and support to GPs and their businesses. We are the only statutory body that represents GPs. We are involved locally, regionally and nationally in representing General Practice with a large number of Health Bodies and political organisations. LMCs throughout the four nations are entering their 100th year of existence in 2011 having been set up by GPs for GPs pre-dating the National Health Service's birth in 1948.
