Equity and Excellence: Liberating the NHS signalled the Government’s intention to abolish Primary Care Trusts from April 2013. The Health & Social Care Bill currently before Parliament provides for their abolition and for the transfer of property on abolition. This guidance sets out the arrangements for the future of the PCT-owned estate and its transfer to new owners.
