Having qualified in 1988 Julia has experience in many fields of nursing and teaching. As Modern Matron for Primary Care and General Practice for Solent Healthcare Julia championed quality and governance for General Practice. This led onto a role with Portsmouth PCT, then CCG and finally ICB as the executive nurse for primary care, a role she resigned in 2023.
Having made the decision to leave her strategic role Julia now focuses on education within the company J2S that she started with her colleague over a decade ago. Julia’s speciality in teaching is General practice skills-based learning that is evidence based to ensure that health professionals can apply their knowledge by providing a high standard of safe and compassionate care.
