Introduction

Always running late?

Constantly chasing your to-do list?

When you're juggling patients, admin, meetings and everything in between, it can feel like there simply aren't enough hours in the day.

Aims

This practical workshop aims to explore how better time management can improve clinical effectiveness, patient safety and your own wellbeing — without adding another complicated system to your already busy life.

Content

During this 2 hour workshop we will explore how to:

  • Run more to time and manage your clinical workload effectively
  • Identify your biggest time stealers and tackle them
  • Prioritise tasks and stop important jobs creeping up at the last minute
  • Use delegation more effectively
  • Discover practical time-saving techniques you can use straight away
  • Create better boundaries between work and life

Leave with simple, tried-and-tested strategies to help you take back control of your time, reduce the rush and work more effectively.

"Time is the most valuable coin in your life. You and you alone will determine how that coin will be spent. Be careful that you don't let other people spend it for you"  Quote by John Dryden

Previous Delegate Feedback

"I found it useful to discuss shared primary care time management issues with the group in forming strategies that have been found to work best"
